As a long time representative of Beta Keratin Bob Wiseman contains vitamin A and can help your eyes, teeth, hair, and bones. Consider teaming up with Bob, in the form of Carrots, in the form of Yams, in the form of, Multivitamins. It is only then that you can fight astygmatism and tooth decay together. Other music offers you no such protection from the wiles of UV rays! Listening to Bob can repair skin damage! I IMPLORE you to consider the canon of Bob Wiseman and prevent preventable signs of aging. Bob can give your hair a sheen and bounce that sadly is lacking from most modern musical acts. Since 2000 he has made super 8 films and videos which he accompanies live on accordion, guitar or piano. He is on the board for the Blocks Recording Club and
the Toronto Animated Image Society.

Collective Heat - dance
http://www.collectiveheat.ca
Collective HEAT radiates the principle of synergy – the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Founded in 2005 as a means of showcasing the talents of dance artists working in Toronto, the collective melded to a core group of artists Jen Cole, Meaghan Giusti, Sarah Lochhead and Heather Saum, with input and participation from many guest artists. Collective HEAT’s main focus is contemporary dance with an interest in creating multi-disciplinary collaborations that push their boundaries as choreographers and performers. Presenting a mixed bill of past and recent works Collective HEAT is proud to be performing, in their fourth appearance, at Squiggfest.

Conor Doyle - comedian
Born and raised in the Emerald Isle, Conor left the potato fields of Ireland for Toronto and its fields of hockey pucks. When not bestowing his time to the masses in need of a good rib-tickler, Conor cannot be found at any charitable organization but at the warmest bar stool his arse can find. Entertaining audiences with his fun, likeable, irreverent storytelling and joke weaving, Conor is a Humber Comedy graduate and has been performing stand up and Improv across Ireland, Scotland and Toronto. He'd go beyond the GTA if he could drive or not always get lost. Feel free to drive him to Vancouver for some jokes sometime.

Duke Buzzy - rap
Born in Toronto, Duke didn't see it again for 23 years. He was raised in the Sahtu region of the Northwest Territories, on a diet of rock & roll and classical music (Stones, Beatles, Bob Dylan, JJ Cale, Paul Simon, Cream, Stevie Wonder, Mozart, Wagner, Beethoven & many Bach organ concertos).
In 1988 he discovered rap in the form of DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince. These he quickly abandoned for Public Enemy, Ice T, NWA and the like, being drawn to their commitment to socio-political commentary and raw musical purity. Soon Duke wrote and recorded his first album – entitled “Hyena” - with funding from the NWT Arts Council. As the lyrics of hip hop moved away from these values, Duke remained dedicated to them. At this time he also experimented with a number of other musical genres (progressive rock, Celtic folk, blues, country, R&B, metal, etc), aiming to reign them all into one.
At the end of the 1990's Duke suffered a mental and emotional collapse, withdrawing completely from everything but music. During the recovery process Duke went back to the old hip hop influences, bringing everything else he'd learned with him. Over the next few years he taught himself various recording and mixing techniques and recorded two independent albums (“Go Time” & “Tip the Bar”) which have won over professionals and fans alike. He recently graduated from an audio engineering and music production program in Toronto, and works as a research intern at Euphonic Sound.
Future projects include another album and the composition of a film score. All Eyes on the Duke!!!
